At Hidden Spring we produce Red, White and Rose wine (non organic), plus organic ciders, and a range of organic apple juices. All the produce is grown on our own farm. Our wines are made to our specifications by Seddlescombe Vineyard. Honey from Chris’s bees is also usually available. Our produce range varies each year depending on the previous season’s harvest.
Growing and producing the above is time consuming, especially with a young family! Therefore vineyard sales are available to campsite guests during ‘office hours’ or by request. Other sales are by prior arrangement only. Please note that we do not have a staffed shop and although we welcome visitors to the vineyard to try our produce, if you do call up without notice we may be working elsewhere on the farm, picking up kids from school, or even, have gone out!
Due to other commitments we no longer offer ‘formal’ wine tastings, however campsite guests are welcome to try wine/ cider on Saturday afternoons (usually around 4pm), or at a mutually convenient time.
For small groups of 5-15 people it is possible to arrange a tour of the vineyard and orchards, plus tasting session. This is only available outside peak seasons and must be pre-booked.
